Why local beeswax?
We choose locally sourced beeswax for its naturally protective qualities. It creates a breathable barrier over the paws, helping to lock in moisture and protect against dryness and the elements, while giving our balm its rich, nourishing texture.
Sourcing close to home also allows us to know where our beeswax comes from and choose an ingredient that is minimally and thoughtfully processed, while supporting local beekeepers.

Calendula has been treasured for centuries for its gentle, soothing and skin-conditioning properties. Rich in gentle immune boosting properties, it makes a beautiful addition to balms designed to nourish dry, weather-exposed skin and paws.
We grow our own calendula, harvest the flowers by hand, and slowly infuse them — keeping this simple botanical ingredient at the heart of Scully’s Paw Balm.
